Piper & Skye uses wild American alligator leather that is ethically and responsibly sourced from overpopulated regions in the USA and use the meat as a food source in the local community. Management of the species is overseen by a governing body to ensure the healthy and thriving ecosystem in which the species lives. These skins and leathers would be considered a waste product (headed for a landfill) unless passed-on to designers who create beautiful handbags and accessories with them.

To keep your Alligator skin looking its very best over the years, we recommend using a damp cloth with a touch of mild soap to remove any marks. Some dark-colored clothing may affect certain leathers, especially lighter colors. Be sure to pre-wash these items before any direct contact with your handbags & accessories.
